Martine Wixted
Martine is a qualified mediator whose background is in education, and more particularly, social justice in education. Working initially as an English teacher in the post-primary sector, she then worked in the prison service and later as a home school liaison.
In addition to a BA (Hons) in English and a postgraduate diploma in special education needs, Martine also holds an MA in Mediation and Conflict Intervention. Possessing vast experience working with families and individuals experiencing challenging circumstances, she places great emphasis on actively listening to clients, challenging them where necessary, while always endeavouring to create a safe space for them to engage with the process of mediation.
Alongside her own mediation practise, Martine now works on a consulting basis as a facilitator with IPA and as a mediator and facilitator with Modus Mediation and Facilitation.
A natural communicator, Martine finds it easy to hold space when working with groups. Her relaxed demeanour combined with over 30 years of experience across these various roles equips her admirably to deliver on the requirements of our corporate and organisational clientele.

Dr. Rachel Finnegan
has made significant contributions to the field of Grand Tour Studies.
She earned her BA in Classics from Trinity College Dublin in 1986 and her PhD in Classics from Maynooth University in 1991.
Dr Finnegan has authored eight academic books and contributed numerous scholarly articles to various publications. She is an active member of several academic and professional associations, including the Association of Freelance Editors, Proofreaders, and Indexers of Ireland (AFEPI) and the Royal Society of Antiquaries of Ireland (RSAI). In addition to her writing and editorial pursuits, Rachel has shared her knowledge as a tutor for the online Diploma in Proofreading and Editing at the College of Media and Publishing in the UK and now has the role of Head Tutor and Proofreader.
Dr Finnegan’s diverse experience includesholding a full-time lecturing position at SETU (formerly Waterford Institute of Technology) for twenty years (1995-2015), where she lectured in Heritage Studies, Tourism Studies andMuseum Studies. The latter module was part of the MA in Arts&HeritageManagement, which she developed and ran while Head of Creative & Performing Arts (2006-2009), and for which she undertook a placement under the guidance of the Curator at Tipperary County Museum, Clonmel.
